Rounds Files 7000 Petition Signatures. Gov Mike Rounds filed petitions to run for the United States Senate today including signatures from more than 7,000 South Dakotans, according to an announcement released by the Rounds campaign this afternoon. The release noted that over 250 volunteers circulated petitions for Rounds and signatures were received from every county in South Dakota.
